Assistant Engineer (Civil) - Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board
Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board is shortly called as GWSSB and this is a government undertaking belonging to the state Government of Gujarat. The mission of this board is to ensure sustainable water supply and sanitation services in the rural areas of the state of Gujarat. The board works towards preventing water scarcity and sanitation issues in the whole state of Gujarat.

Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Assistant Engineer and some of the details regarding the notification issued by the board for this position are given below
Name of the position: Assistant Engineer (Civil)
Number of Vacancies: 213
Pay Scale: Candidates, who are selected for the position of Assistant Engineer (civil) will get a pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 plus GP of Rs.4600

Eligibility Requirement:
Educational Qualification: To apply for the position of Assist Engineer (Civil), candidates must be degree holders in civil engineering from a recognized university. They should also possess operating skills in AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office. Even candidates in the final year of their civil engineering course can apply; however, they will have to produce their passing certificate before the screening test/interview.
Age: The maximum age limit for this position is 28 years, relaxation of upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/SEBC/PH, female candidates and candidates who are already in service with GWSSB.
Method of selection:
Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in screening test or interview.
