Whether MCQs are enlisted in the new pattern of WBCS exam?

Please tell me that in the new rule
pattern of wbcs is there any mcq
is given in wbcs examination????

New pattern for WBCS exam:-

i English Composition 25 Marks
ii General Science 25 Marks
iii Current events of National & International Importance 25 Marks
iv History of India 25 Marks
v Geography of India with special reference to West Bengal 25 Marks
vi Indian Polity and Economy 25 Marks
vii Indian National Movement 25 Marks
viii General Mental Ability 25 Marks

The Main Examination will consist of six compulsory papers and one optional subject (Only for candidates applying for group A and / or B).

W.B.C.S Examination are held in three successive stages, i.e.,

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

2. Main Examination(Conventional Type-Written)

3. Personality Examination

Scheme of the Preliminary Examination : It consist of only one paper on General Studies. The paper will be objective type consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions. The paper will carry 200 marks and will be 2 hours and 30 minutes duration. There shall be negative marking for each wrong answer to multiple-choice questions(MCQ) type.

Scheme of the Main Examination : It consist of 6 Compulsory Papers and 1 optional Subject. There will be two papers of the optional subject of 200 marks each. Each paper, Compulsory or Optional, will carry 200 marks and will be 3 hours duration.

Scheme of the Personality Test : Candidate selected in order of merit on the results of the Main Examination will have to appear at the Personality Test.
