Whether the pension of pensioners be taken as salary for exemption from income for deciding creamy layer?

I am a retired LIC Employee. While in service, I became class-1 officer after completing 42 years age. As such, I do not fall under creamy layer as per my job. For claiming OBC status for my son who did M.tec and applying for lecturer posts in central govt funded educational institutions my a arame annual income should be less than 6 lakhs. Since I am a pensioner since last 4 years, I am getting pension only which is around 4 lakhs per annum. Will the pension also have the same status as salary ( of employees in service ) for exemption while computing income under non creamy? I am getting rents of Rs. 40000/- p.a on my house. No other income for me except the above two sources. My son has no job and applying for the same as explained above. Will the parents' income only be considered for deciding non creamy ? In that case, what is my income for applying for OBC certificate for my son ? Kindly clarify.

Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
