Respected Sir, can I know about the pattern of HPCET for BTech admission which is organized by Himachal Pradesh Technical University? I have applied and preparing for this entrance exam. Kindly tell me about the pattern of this entrance exam of 2019.

Pattern of HPCET (B.Tech) 2019 are as follows:-
Examination Mode - Offline
Duration - 3 hours
Mode of Language - English

Sections -
Physics - 50 questions
Chemistry - 50 questions
Mathematics - 50 questions

Total Number of Questions - 150 questions
Marking Scheme - For every correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded and 1/4th marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

To qualify in the HPCET (B.Tech) 2019 exam, you must have some knowledge about the exam pattern of the entrance exam, so that you will attempt and solve the question paper without much difficulty. Here I am providing you the exam pattern of HCET 2019 Exam Pattern.

HPCET is conducted through offline mode and following are the other details of the HPCET 2019 Exam Pattern:

1) Physics 50 (questions) 100 (Marks)
2) Chemistry 50 (questions) 100 (Marks)
3) Mathematics 50 (questions) 100 (Marks)

Additional Information:

HPC 2019 exam is of 3 hours duration
The question paper will be in English language only.
There is a negative mark for each wrong answers 1/4th marks will be deducted from your total marks.

I am giving you the detail pattern of HPCET 2019 for BTech admission like mode of examination,total number of questions, sectional marks, negative marking, etc.

The exam will be held in the offline mode ( pen and paper mode). The questions in the exam will be of objective type. The exam will have multiple choice questions.Each question will have choice of four answers. You will have to choose one correct answer only. For every correct answer, two marks will be awarded. While, 0.5 marks will be deducted for each question answered incorrectly. While you can skip a question, but should not choose more than one option as correct answer.

1. HPCET(BTech) 2019 is of 3 hours duration.

2. Total number of questions are 150.

3. There are 3 sections in exam and each of the 3 sections consist of 50
questions.

4. The test is conducted in English language only.

5. Maximum Marks of the exam is 300.
