Hello Sir, I want to get admission in HBTU-Kanpur for studying BTech(Biochemical Engineering) course. I would like to know about the procedure for getting admission for this course in this college. Please tell me immediately.

To apply for BTech(Biochemical Engineering) in HBTU-Kanpur, you should have completed your 12th standard with physics and mathematics as main subjects from a recognized board. Candidates must have studied Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology as one of the subjects. With this eligiblity candidates have to appear for UPSEE entrance examination. After qualifying the examination candidates can visit the college and get the admission details.

The admission procedure to study BTech in Biochemical Engineering at HBTU (Harcourt Butler Technology University), Kanpur is:-

==> The candidates will have to fill an online application form from university website that is www.hbtu.ac.in.

==> BTech admission will be done on the basis of the JEE MAIN scorecard.

==> Candidates need to take part in the university counselling process and thereafter fee payment.

==> Candidate must have done 12th Class with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Admission procedure to study B.Tech (Biochemical Engineering) in HBTU-Kanpur:

Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE).

UPSEE 2019 was held on APR, 2019

UPSEE counselling will be from Jun 10-July 2015 2019

The admission to the Harcourt Butler Technological Institute for B.Tech in Biochemical Engineering is through Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Mains)2019 merit.

You would need to give the JEE pre and mains followed by counselling which would be scheduled as per your rank in Mains.


The distribution of the college depends on the number of seats vacant in that particular college at the time of counselling.
