Is it advisable to pursue BSc(Optometry) instead of Zoology/Botany?
Hi everyone, I am planning to do BSc in Optometry. I am a Science student and instead of doing normal BSc in Zoology or Botany, I am preferring Optometry. Is my decision good?

Re: Is it advisable to pursue BSc(Optometry) instead of Zoology/Botany?
BSc Optometry and Zoology / Botany both are totally different.
One is related to Human Body while other is related to Animals/Plants. If you are interested to work on human health go for Optometry. If you are interested to work on nature ( animals/plants) go for Zoology / Botany. B.Optom course is better than BSc Optometry because it has practical approach to teach student. |

Yes, I agree with your decision B.Sc in Optometry would be a very good option over B.Sc in Zoology/Botany.
You can get even government jobs as optometrist like in railways/Defence etc. |

Zoology ,botany r conventional subjects and r mire fun wen sm1 does research out if dem...
Whereas optometry has more of professional studies n u can see itself in a hospital with a good job after ur completion of d degree..Just go through d universities dat offer deze courses checkout der syllabus n future prospects n get back with a crystal clear idea... |
