Which is better to study among Biology and Agriculture in B.Sc to prepare for IAS(Civil Services)? Subjects combination to study in B.Sc better for IAS?


Sir,
I want to know that whether B.Sc Honours in Biology or B.Sc in Agriculture will be Better to choose for preparation of IAS(Civil Services)? And if B.Sc Honours will be better then what combination of subjects should I choose? Thank you!

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service Which is conducted through UPSC every year , the candidates have to appear civil service exam for this .

The eligibility criteria for this exam :

*The candidates should be a citizen Of India.
*The Candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university.
The final year students can also apply for this exams.
*The age limit is 21 - 30 years.
There is a age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates.

You have to decide which you feel it will be better for you to understand that you can choose .

The posts of IAS are filled up through the civil services examination conducted by the UPSC.

According to the eligibility criteria released by the UPSC :

* The candidate should be a citizen of India.

* The candidate should have completed graduation through any stream under the scheme of 10+2+3 at least form a recognized university.

* The candidate should be of 21 years at least at the time of application.

* The candidate should be physically and medically fit.

So, no matter which graduation degree or subject combination you pursue, you will be eligible for the CSE.
