Asking for admission in JU or BESU
My wbjee rank is 8342(gen) & 430(sc). Can i get admission in JU or BESU?

I am sorry to state that it is not possible to get admission in Jadavpur University or BESU with a rank of 8342 in general an 430 in Scheduled Caste. This is because these are the best engineering institutes in West Bengal and the seats are filled up rapidly. However, there is nothing to lose hope as there are other good engineering institutes like Heritage, BP Poddar, Techno India, etc. where you can seek admission. Sometimes it is seen that in the third and fourth round of counselling, some seats are left vacant and students with rank around 10000 also get a seat. So keep in touch with the counselling information too.
