My friend got 36 marks in EAMCET and his caste is OC. Then he qualified or not in EAMCET? Please tell me immediately.

No, the candidate who have scored 36 marks in EAMCET examination belonging to OC category is not considered as qualified. The minimum marks required to qualify in EAMCET examination is 40 marks out of 160 marks. Since, your friend has scored 36 marks, he is not considered as qualified and he is not eligible to get admission in Undergraduate course through convenor quota seats.

EAMCET stands for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) This exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada. This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Qualification is depend on minimum cutoff marks which may or may not be change every year. So you have to wait for result. After declaration of result they will clearly mention cutoff marks for each category.

I got 36 marks in eamcet out off 160,and my intermediate marks are 497/600
