Can we do BSC (Physics) even though we did not have done 12th science?
Can we do BSC(physics)or BSC(Chemistry) from IGNOU or any distance education program even though we have not done 12th science due to certain inevitable circumstances?

Having not opted for Science stream for your Class 12th, you are not eligible for pursuing B.Sc. in Physics or B.Sc. in Chemistry degree courses either in distance or regular mode of education from any recognised university including IGNOU as for pursuing degree courses in Science stream it is mandatory to have completed Class 12th in Science stream.

°°° NO, you can not pursue Bachelor of Science in physics or chemistry through any distance or regular mode of education if you have not studied science in class 11th and 12th.
°°° In order to pursue Bachelor of Science in Physics or Chemistry, a candidate should have completed 12th with medical or non medical stream from a recognised board. Any other stream candidate is not allowed to pursue this degree course, however they can pursue degree in the respective subject they have studied in 12th. |

To do BSc Physics a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as core subjects with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. A candidate's minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age and the admission selection either will be on the basis of the entrance examination which is conducted by the university or will be on the basis of merit.
