Possibility to get BSc(Physics) admission for a 12th CBSE Science candidate with 83% marks?
Respected Sir, I have scored 83% marks in my 12th standard with Science stream in CBSE Board. I want to study BSc in Physics course in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. So, I would like to know that I can get admission or not?

Eligibility Criteria:
>>Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in class 10+2 exam. >> Candidates should get 60% in aggregate in class 10+2 exam to get admission in B.Sc Physics (honours) course. >> In addition, if a candidate fail in English in class 10+2 exam, he/she is not eligible to get admission. Admission Procedure: >> Candidates should fill the application form online from the official website of St.Xaviers College, Kolkata (http://sxccal.edu) and upload the scanned copies of required documents. >> Pay the required fees online using Net banking or Credit card or Debit card. >> Submit the application form and take a print out for further references. >> Selection of students for B.Sc Physics course will be based on the marks obtained in class 10+2 exam. Yes, off course. You can get admission in B.Sc Physics in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata after getting 83% aggregate in your 12th standard with science stream from CBSE board.
Eligibility criteria to get admission in B.Sc Physics in St. Xavier's College are:- Students must have completed 12th with recognized board with at least 65% aggregate. Students admission will be secured through merit list. |

=> B.Sc. Physics or Bachelor of Science in Physics is an undergraduate Physics course.
=> The duration of this course is three years. => For this course candidate must have passed 12th class in science stream from a recognized board. => As per my knowledge, you are eligible to get B.Sc(Physics) admission for a 12th CBSE Science candidate with 83% marks. |

Yes you are eligible to get admission in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata to pursue B.Sc in Physics.
But you have to clear entrance examination conducted by St. Xavier's College, Kolkata itself to get admission. |

Yes, you can get admission in B.Sc physics course in St. Xavier's college.
As per eligibility criteria, candidates who have completed their 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics subjects with minimum 60% marks are eligible to apply for B.Sc Physics course admission in St. Xavier's college. So, you can definitely get admission in St. Xavier's College. |

Yes, of course you are eligible to apply for B.Sc Physics through St.Xavier's College after completing 12th standard with 83% of marks at 12th standard.
The B.Sc Physics is a graduate level academic program that is based on the many theories of Physics. The basic qualification needed by a person to join the B.Sc Physics is a pass in class 10+2 in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry subjects from a recognized board. Applicants for the B.Sc course will need to appear for an entrance exam , which is conducted by St. Xavier's College. Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam and 12th standard board exam. |
