Eligibility to apply for JEE Main 2020?


Respected Sir/Madam, I am preparing for the Board exam as well as for JEE Main. I want to study for a BTech course. For this I want to apply for the JEE Main. Can I know about the eligibility criteria of JEE Main of 2020? Kindly tell me immediately.

Eligibility to apply for JEE Main 2020:
  • Candidate must have passed 12th class or equivalent exam in 2018, 2019 or 2020.
  • There is no age limit.
  • Candidate must have passed 12th class with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidate can appear in examination only three times.

Eligibility to apply for JEE Main 2020:-
Qualifying exam:-
Appearing candidate must have passed 12th level exam or its equivalent from a recognised board.
Appearing candidates:-
Candidates who are appearing in class 12th exam can also apply.
Diploma holders:-
Candidates who are holding diploma can also apply for admission only in IITs.
Qualifying subjects:-
For BTech, candidate in their 12th level must have passed with at least of five subjects with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or any other technical vocational.
Age criterion:-
There is no age limit prescribed to apply for JEE main 2020
Total attempts:
There will be no attempt limit.

Eligibility to appear in JEE Mains 2020:

Students who passed their 10 + 2 or equivalent exam in 2018 or 2019 or appearing in 2020 are eligible for applying in this exam.

The candidates should have pass their 10 + 2 with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics is compulsory subjects.

There is no age limit.

Candidates can participate in the entrance exam for three consecutive years.

The exam will be conducted twice a year, candidates may appear in both the sessions.

The candidate should have passed twelfth with at least five subjects with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or any other Technical Vocational.

Age limit:-
There is no age limit to apply for JEE main 2020

Total attempts :/
There will be no attempt limit.

The eligibility to apply for JEE Main 2020 is a candidate must have passed 10+2 with subjects Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or any other technical vocational with a minimum score of 75% marks in aggregate for general category and for SC/ST it is 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. There is no age limit to apply and no attempt limit.

JEE Mains 2020 -

* Eligibility criteria

Candidates who have passed class 12th from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Candidates who are appearing in class 12th are also eligible for the exam.

There is no age limit for JEE Mains 2020.
