Respected Sir, I want to apply for the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this entrance exam this year for BTech admission. Please let me know about the eligibility criteria of 2020.

Eligibility to apply for VIT Engineering Entrance Exam 2020 :

• Candidate must be resident or non-resident Indian.Foreign students can also apply under Foreign category.
• Candidate must have passed 12th class in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 60% aggregate from any recognized board/institute.
• There is relaxation of 10% marks for candidates belonging to North Indian states, Jammu and Kashmir and SC/ST category.
• Date of Birth of candidates must falls on or after 1st July 1998.

Eligibility to apply for VIT Engineering Entrance Exam 2020:-
Qualification:-
Class 12th appearing or completed candidate, intermediate or 2-year University, class 10th appear or completed for foreign students, general certificate education examination at advanced(A) level, NIOS board candidates can apply.

Age limit:-
Whose date of birth fall on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible.

Nationality:-
The applicant will have to be Resident / Non Resident of India / PIO. Foreign candidates are also eligible.

Subjects:-
Candidates appearing in physics, chemistry, mathematics, English will be eligible for all BTech degree program.
Candidates appearing in physics, chemistry, biology, English will only be eligible for BTech and Bio - steam degree programmes( Bio - engineering, biotechnology, computer science engineering with Spl. in Bioinformatics and ECE with Spl. in biomedical engineering programmes.

Percentage:-
Minimum of 60% in physics, chemistry, mathematics / biology in intermediate. Candidate belonging to Sc / ST or hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and northern eastern state must have minimum of 50% score in PCM / B.

Eligibility to apply for VIT Engineering Entrance Exam 2020:

- The applicant should be citizen of India.

- Class 12th appearing or completed candidates are eligible.

- Candidates appearing in physics, chemistry, mathematics and English will be eligible for BTech degree program.

- Candidates whose date of birth fall on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible.

Eligibility to apply for VIT Engineering Entrance Exam 2020:-
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission. Those who have passed their 12th or equivalent exam from a recognised board securing a minimum aggregate of 60% in physics, chemistry and mathematics / biology can apply.
For SC/ ST candidates, the score to be secured is 50% .
Students belonging to the North - East States should have also secured 50% and above in all the subjects.
Nationality:-
Candidates who are residents of India will be able to apply for VITEED 2020. No - residents of India will also be eligible for the examination and admission process.
