The eligibility criteria for persuing the course is class 12th qualification from a recognised board with atleast 65% and above marks with physics, chemistry and biology as main subjects at the intermediate level.

After 12th, to become a nutritionist , student can persue BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics .
Admission is granted on the basis of merit.
Some colleges also conduct entrance exam for admission to the course.
