Hi, I am a student of 12th standard with Science stream. After completing my Higher Secondary, I want to do BTech(Mechanical Engineering). Can I know my eligibility to do BTech in Siwan Engineering and Technical Institute?

The eligibility to study BTech in Mechanical Engineering at Siwan Engineering and Technical Institute is a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subjectsalong with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject with a minimum score of 45% marks in aggregate for general category and for SC/ST category it is 40% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. The candidate age should be in-between 17 and 23 years of age. Admission selection will be done on the basis of a common admission test that is Bihar Private Combined Entrance Competitive Examination which is conducted by the Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institutions Association, Patna.

Eligibility to study B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) in Siwan Engineering and Technical Institute are as mentioned below:-
Candidate must have passed 10+2 with subjects such as Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry from a recognised Educational Board.
Candidate must have qualified JEE Mains or State Level Engineering Entrance Test with good score.
There is no age limit required to study this course.

Eligibility criteria...
Passed 10+2 with physics maths as compulsory subj along with chemistry/ biotech/ bio/ technical vocational course/ info tech etc..

Obtain atleast 45% in total of above subj
Or
Passed diploma with atleast 45%(Eng & tech).
N 40 % for reserved category....

You must have completed 12th with minimum 60% with PCM combination to get admission.

Admission will done through JEE Main exam.
