Hello friends, I want to join B.U.M.S course after my 12th Science. I have taken PCB and applied for various entrance exam. But I don’t know for study B.U.M.S what entrance exam is for? I am studying 12th PCB from Uttar Pradesh Board. So, can you tell me about the entrance exam?

B.U.M.S is Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery.

The required eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main paper.

The admission in the course is conducted on the basis of NEET test or on the basis of score in the state level medical entrance test.

B.U.M.S is Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery and it is a bachelor degree course.

The required eligibility to appear for entrance examination to get admission in the course is that :

Candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main paper.

Candidate must have scored minimum 50%.

The minimum age limit is 17 years.

The entrance examination is conducted by institute to get admission in the course. Admission in some of the institute is also conducted on the basis of NEET or State Level entrance test.

Admission process for B.U.M.S course differ from college to college. There is no national level entrance exam for B.U.M.S course. However, the concerned university/college may conduct their own entrance exam and allot admission based on the score obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam.

The candidate must complete 12th standard in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized board to be eligible for B.U.M.S course.
