What is a Bachelor of Planning? Is it different from the BArch course?
Hello Sir/Madam, I am a 12th Science student and I am interested in studying a BArch course. After searching, I came to know about Bachelor of Planning but couldn’t understand about this course. Is it different for the BArch course? What is this course all about?

Bachelor of Planning undergraduate academic degree designed to train applicants in various aspects of Designing, engineering, managing and resolving challenges related to Urban human settlements.
It is of 4 years duration. B.Arch is a 5 year undergraduate course where as B.Plan spans for 4 years. The career prospect are more or less the same. Entrance tests- --- JEE Main --- NATA ---UPSEE ---JUEE --TANCET Career prospects- -----Search graduate are hired in capacities as Urban planners, regional planners, project planners, designer architect, interior designer and other such. You should definitely join this because this is newer field with great demand. |
