Re: What to choose between BSc Earth Science and BSc Geology? MSc Geology can be done after BSc Earth Science?
The basic eligibility criteria required to pursue this M.Sc Geology course is "Candidates must have completed their Bachelor's Degree in Geology or any other equivalent relevant course" from a recognized university or institute. But you must have studied Geology as compulsory subject and any two of the following subjects as subsidiary subjects and they are, Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Chemistry.
On the other side, you can choose B.Sc in Geology course in Graduation. So that you will have direct impact in your studies once you choose M.Sc in Geology course. Candidates from B.Sc in Geology course can be highly very much preferred than its equivalent graduation courses. Hence, if you are willing to go for M.Sc in Geology, I suggest you to go with B.Sc in Geology course as compared to B.Sc in Earth Science. Most of the reputed colleges conduct their own entrance examinations for getting admission into this Master's Degree. |

You can choose anyone from the BSc in Earth Science and BSc in Geology, both the courses have their own benefits and it totally depends on your choice. After choosing BSc in Earth Science you can still go for a Master's degree in Geology.
BSc in Earth Science - This course describes many disparate areas of science like atmosphere, hydrosphere, magnetosphere, and the interplay between in terms of energy flow and chemical processes. Earth Scientists study ice cores to get a glimpse into previous concentrations of chemicals in our atmosphere. They study the flow of brine under the Antarctic ocean, how it conducts heat around and the planet, the relationship between artic ice and global warming. BSc in Geology - This course is about one field within earth science that specifically studies rocks, their composition, and the processes that lead to the rocks and landforms on Earth. Geology study looks at all the solid stuff that the planet is made of, everything from the core to the crust to the sand and the mud. |

You should according to your own interest.
If you are interested in Earth Science more than Geology than go for BSc Earth Science. If you are more interested in Geology than go for BSc Geology. You can go for MSc in Geology after completing BSc in Earth Science. |
