What is the duration of articleship after IPCC?

Duration of CA course:

Common Proficiency Test: Register for the two months prior to the first day of the month in which the test will be conducted.

Integrated Professional Competence Course: 9 Months

Information Technology Training: 100Hrs

Article ship Training: 3 years and Six months

Final exam: The Final examination can be written after completion of a minimum of three years of Article ship Training.

Only those student who qualified in group 1 can only start doing articleship. Minimun articleship period is 2 years maximum 2.5years

After completion of IPCC group course one has to undergo article ship.

The duration of the the article ship is 3 1/2 years and also 100 hours duration of ITT should be completed before joining to final course.

What is the articleship duration for me if I passed my grp 1 in Nov 2015 and want to get register after may 2016?

After the completion of CA IPCC you need to spend 3 yrs in Articleship training.
In the 3 years of Articleship training you need to complete the GMCS-I and GMCS-2 courses which is provided by the ICAI.
After the completion of Article ship you are eligible for CA Final registration.
After the Registration you need to wait for 9 months to appear the CA Final Exams.

CA Articleship period is 3 years.
So, after the completion of IPCC you must complete the CA Articleship.
During this training period you need to finish the courses like GMCS, ITT and Orientation.
After the completion of Articleship you are eligible for CA final course.

I am awaiting results of B.Com final semester. I need to clear a paper of fifth semester. Till fifth semester my percent is 58. Am I eligible to register for ipcc

Yes, you can join CA course as a Direct entry student after completion of B.com , The eligibility criteria are as follows:

The candidates should have aggregate 55% in B.com Graduation with Accounting , Financial Management , Auditing subjects.
The candidates should have aggregate 60% in others graduation .

The article ship duration is 3 years which you have to do immediately after admission under a chattered accountant , AS per rule of ICAI.

If you have attended IPCC through CPT route you have to undergo 3 years aricleship after your IPCC. It can be done either clearing first group or both group.

If you are a Bcom graduate you have to undergo 9 months articleship training before writing IPCC exam. And after the exam you can continue your training till 3 years.

Perform well in your training as it builds the Chartered Accountant in you.
