Can CA final exam be given without completing articleship?


Friends, for direct entry scheme I am pursuing PG studies as well (MBA) and I wish to know can I complete the 3 years articleship after passing can final?

Articleship for 2 to 3 years is presently needed and at least 2 years is mandatory to enter to into final examination of CA.
