You need to send your resume stating all your qualifications, domain knowledge, projects or paper works, to the HR of the company along with an approval letter from Head of your department or Institution.

If you know someone who works at Ashok Leyland, it will be easier to get an internship in Ashok Leyland. You can directly approach the respective person to do the internship.

Selection of the candidates is based on Technical round followed by HR interview.
