Re: Which is india's toughest exam? Hello, There are various exams conducted every year. We can not say any exam tough. it should be divided into categories. because the IIT JEE exam will be tough for the biology student. But as the we can talk some exams which are considered tough as follows: In Science stream- AIIMS & IIT JEE (For Admission into medical and engineering courses) In Government exam category- IAS (For Civil services posts) In Management and post graduation- CAT (For admission into IIMs for management courses) |

Look,first we've to be clear as to what we are asking, if you ask which are the Toughest Competitive exams,I'll say Ias/Cat/Aiims/IITs Whereas if the question is,which is/are the toughest exam merely in terms of toughness,I'll have to say it's CA final exam. So,you see there is a bit of difference between toughest cosmetics exam and toughest exam.I hope i was able to reply to your query successfully. |

i have attended iit/jee & CAT got a pretty good score in both. now working in a multinational company & preparing for UPSC civil services examination & for the first time feeling like hell lot of syllabus (almost no limit when considering GK & history). |

In my opinion IIT-JEE is the toughest exam,even tougher than the likes of ias and cat,as all the bright students invariably try for iit-jee after high school,so the competition is very tough,whereas after graduation,different people go for different options....some try for ias ,some for cat,and some others go abroad for studying,so the competition gets divided into different areas and is not so concentrated in one particular area. |

This is a bit difficult question to answer as you can't say anything about any exam .It depends upon the quality and standard of questions that are asked in examination . But as far as engineering entrance exam is concerned ,IIT-JEE is definitely the toughest. If you will go towards mba entrance exam, you will find CAT ,the toughest. IAS or IPS is also considered tough . Another exam that is SCRA is also considered tough to crack and it's question matches the IIT-JEE level. So you just can't decide which exam is toughest. Few are GATE, CAT IITJEE, UPSC,The first two are entrance exam while the last is for job recruitment. The exam are made tough to make the person with knowledge to get selected and avoid every one getting selected |

Re: Which is india's toughest exam? This is a highly relative question. For ex - science may seem easy to a science student but not to a commerce student. So, IIT-JEE and BITSAT are considered to be the most challenging papers in Engineering. While, in general, CAT and UPSC Civil Services exams are considered top notch. |
