Hello Sir, I want to get admission in The West Bengal University of Teacher’s Training, Education Planning and Administration for studying PhD(Education) course. I would like to know about the procedure for getting admission for this course in this college. Please tell me immediately.

The students having M.Ed. or M.A. / M.Sc. in education with B.Ed. preceded by Honours degree in any subject from any recognised university are given admission through entrance test followed by interview. The candidates having Master's degree with at least 55% marks in total or its equivalent in the UGC 7-point scale are eligible to appear for the entrance exam(relaxation of 5% in case of SC/ST/PWD/OBC{NON CREAMY LAYER ONLY}) . However the candidates who have cleared UGC/CSIR(JRF)/NET/SET/SLET/Teacher Fellowship or have passed equivalent examination are exempted from the entrance exam and are required only to attend interview. The interview is conducted to test the competence of the research proposal and the research can be suitably done in the institution. The proposed research can contribute to new or additional knowledge is also assessed in the interview. The selected student has to register for the course by paying the required fees.
