I have heard about the course which is a PhD in the specialization of Forestry. I want to do a PhD in this specialization in Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. Can you please let me know about the procedure to secure admission? Thank you!

The admission procedure is:-

The entrance exam called UGC-NET.

Candidates who have done post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

Duration of this course is 3 years.

The admission to PhD(Forestry) at the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University is through National Eligibility Test and Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University entrance examination. However, the Ph.D in Forestry is not available in the University.

Those who have completed their masters degree in the relevant subject with atleast 55% marks are eligible for PhD admission.

Admission is granted on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam and interview.
Those who have given any National level entrance exam will be exempted from university level entrance exam .
They also have to submit research proposal at time of application.
