Am I eligible to pursue PhD(Computer Science) with an MCA Degree being a Software Developer?


Dear Sir, I have done MCA course and currently working as a Software Developer in a reputed company. I am thinking of pursuing a PhD program in Computer Science. I would like to know with my MCA Degree, I am eligible to pursue PhD in Computer Science?

Yes, you are eligible to pursue PhD(Computer Science) with an MCA Degree being a Software Developer.

You must have completed MCA with minimum aggregate of 50% from recognized university.

Applicant can secure admission through GATE or equivalent examination.
