After completion of PGDM degree, you can't apply for UGC NET exam.
NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC. The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years. Marks distribution for each papers of NET exam:- Section 1 - 100 marks(60 questions are there) Section 2 - 100 marks(50 questions are there) Section 3 - 150 marks(75 questions are there) |

Eligibility of UGC NET for PGDM students :
Yes of course you are eligible to apply for UGC NET after completion of PGDM course. Since the candidates who want to apply for UGC NET should have completed the PG /Master's various courses. --> You should have completed Master's from the recognized University with minimum 50% of marks. --> The Masters should be any of these courses like M.SC /B.S-M.S/MBBS/B.SCwith MS -PH.D etc., --> Under UGC NET you will have two options available <> JRF : Age should be below 28 years <> LS : There is No upper Age limit --> Date of MCQ Examination Date : 21/06/2015 |

Yes of course. You are eligible to apply for UGC NET examination. NET i.e National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grants Commission twice in a year for admission to Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship. This year examination has been already completed. Next notification will be published in the month of September or October in the official website of UGCNET.
Eligibility: The candidate should have completed postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. The candidate must have secured at least 55% marks for general candidates and 50% marks for reserved categories. Final year of master degree course may also apply. Even those who are completed master degree in diploma from a recognized university may also apply. |

No, you are not eligible for UGC NET if you have PGDM qualification. You need at least a masters degree with at least 55% marks to become eligible for this exam. For reserved category there is relaxation of 5% marks.
Therefore, it is clear according to the notification that you are not eligible for NET because PGDM is a diploma course and you need at least a masters degree to become eligible for it. |
