Which is better to take M.Phil or Ph.D after completing M.Sc in Applied Microbiology?
Hi...
Last year I completed my M.Sc in applied microbiology...now I'm planning to do PhD. But till now I din't write t any entrance exam for PhD. So what should I do...should I do M.Phil or PhD?? |

If you have Master's Degree with 55% marks then you must surely apply for Ph.D admission. Admission in a Ph.D program is based on the following criteria.
1. Through University Ph.D entrance exam. 2. Through NET/SLET or any Fellowships experience. 3. Through M.Phil qualification Therefore, opt for M.Phil admission only when you don't have NET/SLET score and don't perform well in the Ph.D entrance exam. If you don't have NET/SLET score you can apply for Ph.D entrance exam and those who get good marks will get admission in a Ph.D program. |
