Hello friends, I would like to know that if I do PhD(Atmospheric Sciences) from Pune University then is it possible to become a Professor or not? Please let me know that can I become a Professor or not? Thank you!

Yes, it is possible but most of the colleges and universities recruit on merit and you must have excellent academics to get selected over others. Most of the universities prefer candidates who have NET/SET qualification.

Even if you have some research experience it will surely benefit you. Even those who kind of professional experience are preferred in private colleges and universities.
