Hi friends, I am interested to do PhD in Economics from IBS-Hyderabad. I just want to know about the duration of this course as well as the structure of this course. Can you please let me know about the course duration and structure? Please let me know about both immediately.

Duration of PhD(Economics) in IBS-Hyderabad is 4 years. PhD(Economics) program in IBS-Hyderabad may be completed in 4 phases as given below:

1. Coursework (includes micro and macro economics, econometrics, development economics and policy, international trade and theory of finance)

2. Ph.D Qualifying Examination (Consists of written examination followed by viva-voce)

3. Preparation of Thesis Proposal: On completion of the PhD qualifying examination, the students have to prepare for the Ph.D. thesis proposal under the guidance of a Doctoral Advisory Committee.

4. Thesis Work & Submission of Thesis
