Do IISC in Bangalore offers distance PhD?

IISc does not offer part time PhD programme.
Those who are interested must do PhD in regular mode as research involves working closely with professors, sharing the ideologies and putting 100% time and effort on the trade.
If a candidate lacks time and he/she is not able to satyendra regular classes then its alright otherwise one should go for regular course.
Those who have completed masters are eligible for PhD programme.
Admission is granted on the basis of entrance exam.

IISC in Bangalore does not offer distance education in PhD. Indian Institute of Science (IISC) provides a full-time PhD course and the minimum educational qualification required for this course is a candidate must have passed a master's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university. Admission selection is done on the basis of a valid score in GATE/NET/JRF/GPAT followed by a written test and interview round.
