Eligibility to apply for UGC NET 2020
Hi, I am interested to do my PhD so I am preparing for UGC NET. I want to do a PhD in Mathematics. Can any of you kindly let me know about the eligibility criteria to apply for this eligibility test of this year?

Eligibility to apply for UGC NET 2020:-
Interested candidates appearing for UGC NET 2020 need to fulfill the eligibility criteria which are maintained below:- The candidate should have passed master's degree with the subjects of Social Sciences and Humanities, Electronics Science and Computer Science etc. Candidates appearing for the final year exam of post graduation in the year 2020 can also apply. Candidates should achieve a minimum of 55% of marks in the NET examination. Candidate with a reservation should have at least 50% of the score in UGC- NET Candidates are required to appear for the subject of their qualifying exam only. Candidates, whose qualifying exam subject remains uncovered in the subject list mention by UGC, are required to appear in a related subject only. |

Eligibility-
You are eligibility for the exam will be decided on the basis of two measure factors that is educational qualification and age limit. Aspirants who have completed post graduation or enrolled for the masters can apply for this exam. There is no age restriction to appear in this exam for Assistant Professor but if you want to apply for JRF then your age should be 30 years or less. |

The aspirant should have post graduation as minimum educational qualification required to apply for this exam however last year candidates are also eligible. There is no age restriction for assistant professor. The age should should not exceed 30 years if you want to apply for JRF. |

Hi!
You need a masters degree with a percentage of not less than 55% to apply for the examination from a UGC recognized university.And for writing the NET examination there is no age limit.But for getting a fellowship you should aged less than 28 |

Eligibility to apply for UGC NET 2020:-
Master's degree from a recognized University preferably in subjects like social science, Humanities, Electronics science, and computer science etc. Candidates appearing for the final year exam of post graduation in the year 2020 can also apply. Candidates should achieve a minimum of 55% of marks in the NET examination. 5% relaxation is given to reserved categories. The minimum age limit by the exam authorities has been set to 28 years for general category. 5 years relaxation is given to Reserved categories. |
