Dear friends, for getting admission in PhD(Mathematics), what is the eligibility criteria at the Central University of Tamil Nadu? I want to secure admission in this university for this PhD program. Please let me know about this immediately.

Eligibility to get PhD (Mathematics) admission in Central University of Tamil Nadu are as mentioned below:-
Candidate must have completed their Master's Degree/ M.Phil degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics from a recognised University.
Candidate must have scored at least 55% aggregate in their Master's degree/ M.Phil degree.
There is no age restriction to pursue this course.
Candidate may have to qualify entrance examination required to get admission in this course just like NET, JRF, GATE, CUCET etc.

Ph.D. Mathematics or Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics is a Doctorate Mathematics course. The required eligibility to get Ph.D. (Mathematics) admission in Central University of Tamil Nadu is the candidate should have passed Master degree in the respective stream from a recognized university. The minimum percentage required in the master degree to get admission in Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics is 55%. The admission of the candidate will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination and Personal Interview, The duration of Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics is three years.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree in Mathematics with above 55% marks from a recognized University are eligible for Ph.D entrance exam.

For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There are no age criteria.

You must have a valid CSIR NET score card.

Course duration of Ph.D:-

Total - 5 years (Minimum)

First year- Course Work

Two to four years- Project Work
