Hello friends, I want to do a PhD program in Geology stream from Gulbarga University. I am unable to know the eligibility criteria. So, can anyone of you kindly let me know about the eligibility criteria for doing this PhD program in this university?

Eligibility to pursue PhD(Geology) in Gulbarga University is as follows.

Applicant must have completed Master degree with minimum 55% marks from recognized university.

Selection will be done on the basis of previous academic performance and entrance exam conducted by university.

All the interested students are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in order to apply for the course which is as below :

1.Postgraduate degree in a relevant area such as Geology/ Applied Geology/ Earth Science/ Marine Geology from any recognized university.
2.Minimum 55% marks for general category in master’s degree.
3.Minimum 50% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates.
