Hello, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for studying PhD(Philosophy) which is available in Panjab University. I am looking forward to doing this PhD in this university. Can anyone of you let me know about the eligibility criteria?

The eligibility to study a PhD in Philosophy at Panjab University is a candidate must have done a Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate for a general category and 50% marks in aggregate for a SC/ST category. Admission selection will be done on the basis of performance in the written test which is conducted by the university followed by an interview.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

So you are eligible for Ph.D course in Philosophy in Panjab University

There is no age criteria for Ph.D course but you must have a valid UGC NET score card.

The eligibility to study a PhD in Philosophy at Panjab University is given below:-

1. Candidate must have passed Master's in relevant subject with 55% marks if he belongs from general category and 50% if belongs from reserved category.

2. There is no age bar.

Tuition fee is around Rs 2000 per semester.
