Eligibility to study PhD(Anthropology) in Panjab University?


Dear friends, please help me to know about the eligibility criteria through which I can study PhD in Anthropology in Panjab University? I am interested to do PhD in this stream in this university. Please help me to know about this asap. Thank you!

You need to have a masters degree in anthropology with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognised university. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.

Admission is mostly based on merit, which is decided through the entrance exam and interview conducted by the concerned university. If you have scores like NET/SET/JRF then you will be exempted from university entrance exam.
