Hi everyone, I am a student of MPhil with Sanskrit stream. After completing my MPhil, I want to do PhD in Sanskrit. Can I know my eligibility to do PhD(Sanskrit) in Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University?

The eligibility to study PhD in Sanskrit at Tilak Manjhi Bhagalpur University is a candidate must have passed a post-graduation in the relevant field from a recognized university. Admission selection is done on the basis of scores obtained in the PhD Admission Test (PAT) which is conducted by the university. There is no specific age limit to apply for this course.

The eligibility to study PhD Sanskrit at Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University is, candidates must have a post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

The duration of this course is 3 years.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called GATE and NET.

Eligibility:

1. Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B'.

2. An entrance examination PAT is conducted along with an interview for the selection process. The nature of the Ph.D. program is both full-time and part-time.

3. The written entrance exam consists of Paper - I of 1-hour objective type and Paper – II of 2 hours essay type/ Subjective.

Applicant should hold a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit language, either Masters of Arts in Sanskrit or MPhil Sanskrit.

Applicants should appear in a central level entrance examination or should have a valid score in university level examination.

The candidate should have scored 55% or more in post graduation to be eligible for admission in PhD course. The candidate will get admission in PhD based on the entrance test that is conducted by the university itself.
