Hello everyone, I am interested to do PhD program in Panjab University in the specialization of Statistics. So, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for doing this PhD program in this university. Please tell me asap.

Eligibility to study PhD (Statistics) in Panjab University are mentioned below:-
Candidate must have completed their M.Statistics/ MA/ M.Sc in Statistics or equivalent discipline from a recognised university.

Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate at the post-graduation level.

Eligibility to study PhD(Statistics) in Panjab University are as follows:-
Candidate must be a holder of Post-Graduate degree in that particular specialization.
Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate in Master’s.
There is no any particular age limit required.
Candidate must have to clear entrance examination to get admission.

Eligibility for pH.D. in Statistics:

M.Stat./M.A./M.Sc. in Statistics or equivalent discipline, completed from recognised University.

A minimum aggregate score of 50% at the level of post graduation and relaxation of five percent is given to SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Mathematics and Statistics as the main subjects of study at 10 + 2 level.

Eligibility to study PhD(Statistics) in Panjab University:-

Candidate should have to complete M.Stat/M.A/M.Sc in statistics or equivalent discipline from recognised university or college.

Minimum aggregate score of a 50% in post graduation and 5% relaxation is given to reserved categories.

Mathematics and statistics as the main subjects at + 2 level.

The required eligibility to study PhD(Statistics) in Panjab University is the candidate should have passed Master degree in the same stream with at least 55% from a recognized university.

The admission of the candidate will be done on the basis of performance in the entrance examination and Interview. The duration of this course is 2 years.
