Hi Sir/Madam, I just want to know about the entrance exam through which I can secure admission in Sikkim University for studying PhD program in Horticulture. Kindly tell me about the entrance exam through which I can secure admission for this PhD program in this university.

Entrance exams available to study PhD in India.

1. CSIR UGC NET,

2. UGC NET,

3. IIT JAM,

4. NPAT.

The entrance exam is usually conducted by the concerned University itself, but if you have qualified exams like NRT / SET/ JRF or have M.phil qualification, then you will be exempted from the entrance exam and just need to appear for the interview stage directly.

Also, those who have got 5 years of professional experience in the same field, will get an exemption from the written exam. Hence, make sure you have the necessary qualification before applying for admission.

The selected candidates need to attend the written test and personal interview.
