The fee structure of PhD (Sociology) in Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is given below:

Application fee for entrance test – Rs 1,000
Course work fee – Rs 10,000 one time
IT Infrastructure fee – Rs 500 one time
Examination fee for course work – Rs 1,000 one time
Registration form fee – Rs 500 one time
Registration fee – Rs 5000 one time
Research Centre fee – Rs 3,000 per semester / six months
Caution Money – Rs 3,000 refundable
University Library fee – Rs 1,000 per semester / six months
University Library Caution Money – Rs 1,000 refundable
Extension fee (after 4 years) - Rs 2,000
Examination fee for thesis evaluation – Rs 7,000 one time
Examination fee for revised thesis evaluation – Rs 5,000 if applicable
Fee for second viva voce examination (if one failed in the first viva voce examination) – Rs 5,000 if applicable
Certified copy of examiner’s reports – Rs 1,000 if required
