I'm a student of class 11 in science and I want to research on space after 12.How can I prepare myself in order to build a bright career on space research?

For joining ISRO after 12th, you can give IIST exam...
One can also.join ISRO.after b.tech and they to.appear ISRO centralised recruitment.

There are 3 exams , one can take after class 12 to join ISRO

To join ISRO for space research a candidate should choose Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at 10+2 and BTech/BE in disciplines such as Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science or you can also take up a science degree such as bachelor's in Mathematics, Physics, and Astronomy and thereafter should go for masters in the same discipline from a recognized university. A PhD in Physics and Mathematics is an added advantage.

The recruitment to ISRO is conducted by a Centralised Recruitment Board, a candidate who meets the eligibility set by ISRO can apply for jobs through ISRO's official website. The selection will be made through a written examination and an interview. ISRO also recruits candidates directly through campus placements such as IITs, and IISc. To join ISRO you need to choose subjects in class 11th like :- physics, mathematics etc. Science related subjects.

After 12th you can appear for Indian institute of space science and technology (IIST).
You can join ISRO after finishing B.TECH.
