i want to know about phd english from ignou
i have completed MA English from University of Jammu with 55.43%. Can i do phd in english from ignou

If you have got 55% marks in your M.A degree from a recognized University, then surely you can apply for Ph.D admission from IGNOU. The admission will be on the basis of a entrance examination conducted by IGNOU. However, candidates having below mentioned qualification will be exempted from entrance exam and can directly apply for Ph.D admission.

1. Those who have qualified exams like JEST, GATE, CSIR NET and SLET can apply on the basis the score in this exams.

2. Those who have M.Phil qualification in the respective discipline from a recognized University will be exempted from entrance exam.

3. Those who are having professional experience of at least 5 years in the relevant field are also eligible for Ph.D admission without entrance exam.

I have done MA English from Osmania University distance mode and secured 56.5 marks. Am I eligible to join M.Phil course?

Can i take addmission in ph D URDU without clearing NET....???
