I want to apply for a PhD program in History in Gauhati University. So, I would like to know is it possible to get a stipend for this PhD program? Kindly let me know about the stipend as soon as possible.

If you have completed masters degree in History with above 55% marks from a recognized University then you are eligible for Ph.D course.

If you have valid UGC NET LS score card then you are eligible for stipend during Ph.D course.
