I would like to know about the requirements for getting admission in PhD(Zoology) course in Mysore University. Kindly let me know about the requirements for admission in this course. Waiting for your response!

The requirements to get a PhD in Zoology admission at Mysore University is a candidate must have passed a Master's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate for general category and for SC/ST it is 50% marks in aggregate. Admission selection is done on the basis of entrance test which is conducted by the university and followed by an interview round.

Interested candidate can download the application form from the university website www.uni-mysore.ac.in. Fill the application form and attach all the relevant documents. Pay the application fee of Rs.2000 for general category and for SC/ST it is Rs.750 through demand draft in favour of "The Finance Officer, UOM, Mysore" and send it along with application form and documents to the below address.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree in Zoology with above 55% from a recognized University are eligible for PhD program in Mysore University. You must have a valid CSIR NET score card.
