Hello, I am looking forward to study PhD in Statistics course in CUSAT. Can you please let me know about the requirements for getting admission in this college for this PhD program? Please let me know about the requirements immediately.

For PhD (Statistics) you must have a master's degree and you will have to appear in the entrance exam called DAT conducted by the University.

A master's degree from an approved board is required for CUSAT's doctorate admissions procedure in particular. Applicants must have an overall score of at least 50%.

Those are are planning to take admission must hold masters degree in relevant field With 55% marks or CGPA 6.0 in qualifying exam.
Those belonging to reserved category are eligible for 10% concession in marks.

Those who are seeking registration shall have passed departmental admission test.

Application form can be received from concerned department after paying requisite fee.

CUSAT Ph.D.( Statistics) Eligibility Criteria:-

1) A Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the qualifying examination from a recognized University.
2) M.Phil. holders with at least 55% marks from a Govt. recognized university are also eligible to apply.
Special Note: SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) gets a 5% relaxation from 55% to 50%.

• A Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the qualifying examination from a recognized University, or a CGPA of 6.0 in the 10 point scale or an equivalent grade in similar scales.
• M.Phil. holders with at least 55% marks from a Govt. recognized university are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates who possess national/state research fellowship with valid scores, with committed financial assistance are eligible to apply.
