In which stream I should do PhD if studying M.Tech in Structure Engineering?


I am doing M.Tech in Structure Engineering in Bengaluru. This is my 2nd semester and I am doing well. But after my M.Tech I want to study more. I want to do PhD after my M.Tech. So, in what subject I do PhD?

The best stream you can pursue after successful completion of M.Tech in Structure Engineering is "Structural Engineering" only. Yes, PhD in Structural Engineering is the best course you can pursue after completion of M.Tech in Structure Engineering. The duration of the course generally lasts about 3 years and the basic educational qualification required is "Post Graduation" in concerned stream.

There are several colleges that are offering this course and you are required to appear in respective college's PhD Entrance Examination in order to be eligible.
