Is there any problem in getting doctorate from deemed university?

Hi All, I have applied and got ph.d in sathyabama university. After which I came to know that getting ph.d from deemed university will not give you reputation as Government universities, also the guideship after getting ph.d couldn't apply for government universities. Is it true? Please clarify my doubt.. I am in great confusion.

Regards,
Santhiya

There is no problem in getting a doctorate from the deemed university. Every deemed university is deemed to be a university by the 'Ministry of Human Resources and Development' on the recommendation of the UGC. The degrees that a deemed university are all recognized and valid. They have the right to set their own courses and award their own degrees.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
