You need to appear for entrance examination like NET/SLET/JRF/GATE,etc. examination in order to be eligible to get admission to Ph.D course as it is the basic eligibility criteria to be followed, however, after having scored well in the examination, you will probably have to wait for counselling and after that you be allotted colleges based on your marks for the course.

If a candidate has completed the course of Masters Degree with 55% marks then the candidate is eligible for the course of PhD.
You need to clear the UGC-NET Examination and once you do so you can pursue the course of PhD with Scholarship. There is no other criteria. You just need to prepare for the NET Examination and once you have cleared the NET Examination you can get admitted to the course of PhD. |
