I am 59 years old working as adhoc assistant professor. I am PhD and having 20 years of teaching experience. Am i eligible to apply for the post of assistant professor in the same college on contract basis for 3 years by notification of Punjab university?

There is no upper age limit to apply for post of Assistant Professor. You must have completed post graduation from any university. You should have cleared NET exam to become an Assistant Professor.

Requirements:

1. The candidate must have qualified National Eligibility Test.

2. The candidate must have passes post graduation with minimum 55% from any recognized college/university.
