Am I eligible to pursue MSc(Mathematics) in IGNOU if studying BSc Geology with Mathematics as an allied subject?


Madam/Sir, I am having Mathematics in 1st and 2nd year BSc as an allied subject and Geology as the major subject. I wish to appear for MSc Mathematics in IGNOU. Am I eligible for MSc Mathematics program in IGNOU with this qualification.

No, You are not eligible to pursue MSc(Mathematics) in IGNOU if studying BSc Geology with Mathematics as an allied subject.

You must have completed BSc with Mathematics as a main subject with minimum aggregate of 55%.
