Yes you can pursue M.Sc astrophysics after B. Tech in aerospace engineering. You can give the entrance exam for Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) which is conducted every year in November.

Re: Can a BE AERONAUTICAL student have a chance to do masters in astrophysics at Indian Institute of Astrophysics?
Yes, a BE Aeronautical Engineering student can have a chance to pursue a Master's degree in Astrophysics at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the program.
To be eligible for the Master's program in Astrophysics at IIA, you must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA. Since Aeronautical Engineering is an engineering discipline, it is considered an acceptable qualification for admission to the program. |
